Impact of Fracking on Our Water

Sharon Ponton, of the Blue Ridge Environmental Defense League (BREDL), will present on fracking and how it affects water resources and can be linked to man-made earthquakes. As a part of her work with BREDL, her goal is to start a group in Nelson which will work to ban fracking and its various related activities such as injection wells and/or wastewater treatment plants.
Non-fracked water, lemonade and coffee will be provided.
